For this you will need one tablespoon of chopped fresh ginger, two tablespoons of sugar, one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and one glass of water and one glass of soda. In a bowl add the ginger, water and the sugar and boil the mixture. Let the mixture boil for almost 10 mintues. Now strain the mixture and let it cool. To this mixture add fresh lemon juice and soda.

2. Ginger Ale Using Ginger, Sugar, Water, lemon Juice And Ginger Bug :

This method involves fermentation. First let us see how to make the ginger bug. Take 2 tablespoons of grated ginger and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix well add 2 cups of water to it. Mix well and keep the mixture in a glass jar for 5 days. Every day stir the mixture and add one tablespoon each of ginger and sugar. After 5 days the solution will look opaque and will smell like yeast. Your ginger bug is ready.

Now for the ale take one tablespoon of ginger, two tablespoons of sugar and 3 cups of water. Mix all the ingredients and simmer. Strain the liquid and let it cool and then add fresh lemon juice, little more water and about half cup of the ginger bug. Mix well and store in a air tight glass jar for two days. The fermented ginger ale will be ready in two days.

3. Ginger Ale Using Ginger, Water, Soda , Lemon Juice And Honey:

For this recipe you will need one tablespoon of ginger, juice of one lemon two tablespoons of organic honey, one cup of water and one glass of soda. Mix the grated ginger and water and boil the mixture for 15 minutes. Strain the mixture and let it cool. To this add honey, fresh lemon juice and soda and mix well.

4. Ginger Ale From Ginger Ale Syrup And Water:

If you do not want to go through the hassles of making ginger ale at the last minute then you have the option of making ginger ale syrup at home and then using it as and when required. For this you will need 2 cups of grated ginger, 2 cups of white sugar and six cups of water. Mix all the three ingredients and boil the mixture. Let the mixture simmer for almost one hour till you get a glossy syrup. The quantity will reduce to half of the original quantity. Now strain the mixture and let it cool. Store the syrup in refrigerator. Whenever you need ginger ale just take 2 tablespoons of the ginger ale syrup, one teaspoon of fresh lime juice and one glass of soda. Mix all the three and your ginger ale is ready quickly.

5. Ginger Ale Using Ginger, Water, Grapefruit Juice, Honey And Soda:

For this you will need two tablespoons of grated ginger, one cup of water , half glass fresh grapefruit juice, one teaspoon chopped fresh mint leaves, half glass of soda and two tablespoons of honey. As done in earlier recipes boil the ginger and water and strain and cool the liquid. To this add fresh chopped mint leave, half cup of fresh grapefruit juice and half cup of soda. Stir the mixture well.
