First Step

We would collect all the required ingredients first to prepare this recipe. You would need half a cup of coconut oil, six tablespoons of Shea Butter, one cup of Magnesium flakes, two tablespoons of beeswax, six tablespoons of boiling water and two cups of regular water. You can also add few drops of essential oils of your choice for fragrance. You can get Magnesium Flakes and Beeswax at online stores easily.

Second Step

Take a small bowl and add magnesium flakes to it. Now pour boiling water over it. Keep mixing it till the magnesium flakes get dissolved. Keep it aside and let it cool down. If the magnesium flakes are not available then you can use half a cup of magnesium oil as well

Third Step

Now take a coconut oil in another bowl and add beeswax as well as regular water to it. Mix all the ingredients well . Add Shea Butter to it and put the bowl in a microwave. Let it heat till beeswax and Shea butter melts completely. Take it out and let it cool down.

Fourth Step

Add beeswax mixture into the blender to get a smoother consistency. Once done start adding magnesium mixture slowly. Keep stirring till all the ingredients mix well and get a thick texture.

Fifth Step

Now transfer this to a clean container. Make sure it does not have any traces of water as it could lead to fungus. Put this container in refrigerator for at least 15 to 20 minutes. Once done take it out and blend it again to get a smoother body butter like texture. Store it again at the refrigerator. Your homemade Magnesium Body Butter is ready to use.
