Anti Aging Serum For Youthful Skin

There is a vast range of skin care products available on the market, all luring the buyers to use and try them. And they must be good but definitely contain harmful chemicals that have fatal side effects and can cause long-term damage to the skin and body. As the skin ages, it becomes necessary to care for it, replenish it and nurture it because the natural oils of the skin start diminishing and the skin starts lacking in its elasticity and lustre.

So the option is to either be the synthetic based products from the market or resort to nature and make your own home-made serums. Here is a recipe of an anti-aging serum that can be made easily at home.

The Ingredients For This Serum Are-

Jojoba Oil –

The composition of this oil is very similar to the natural oil of our skin and is suitable for all skin types. It has strong anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to tone and firm the skin and can act as an effective moisturiser.

Rose Hip Seed Oil –

This wonder oil can do magic to marks and blemishes and erase them gradually.It is especially good for dry skin and has hydrating powers. Rose hip seed oil comprises of fatty acids and vitamin A and the antioxidant qualities of vitamin C. It boosts cell regeneration and protects it from harmful radicals.

Vitamin E  –

Not only does this vitamin heals and protects the skin with its antioxidant properties but also increases the shelf life of the serum.

Frankincense Essential  Oil –

This fruity woody essence oil comes from the middle east and has its roots to ancient Eygpt also. This oil has antiseptic and antibacterial properties to heal and protect the skin and also promotes  growth and health of new cells and tissues. When all these properties of frankincense oil are combined, it becomes a perfect moisture laden skin lifting oil. On application, this oil also calms the senses.

Myrrh Essential Oil –

This is a Middle eastern essential oil and has been used for removing wrinkles and fine lines from the skin along with providing adequate moisturization to keep the skin hydrated and soft. The antioxidants in this oil control sagging and the antibacterial properties of this oil protect the skin from infections. It is highly useful for dry, rough, and cracked skin.

Lavender Essential Oil –

This popular oil is extremely balanced and has anti-inflammatory properties to deal with various skin problems. It can heal cuts, bruises and is suitable for sensitive skin. Not only does it lighten the skin tone but also reduces fine lines and tightens pores.

Patchouli Essential Oil –

Extremely useful to control ageing effects on the skin, patchouli oil works well for sagging and dull skin. It tones and moisturizes the skin and balances sebum production to control breakouts. It gives relaxation to the facial tissues and helps in cell regeneration. This oil has a strong composition so should be used minimally.

Composition-

3 tbsp- Rose hip seed oil

1/2 tsp vitamin E

4 drops Frankincense essential oil

4 tbsp Jojoba oil

4drops Myrrh essential oil

3 drops Patchouli essential oil

5 drops Lavender essential oil

1 dark glass dropper bottle of 1 ounce

Method-

Pour slowly jojoba oil, rose hip seed oil and vitamin E in the bottle. Now add all the essential oils and close the lid. Slowly roll the bottle to mix all the oils. This is now ready for use. Check the skin sensitivity before usage.

Usage –

Apply 1/4-1/2 dropper of the serum to the face and neck every night. Results will be visible in a month. Can be applied regularly at night.
