11 Natural Homemade Body Lotions

Natural Homemade Body Lotions

The problem with skincare cosmetics these days is that while most of them promise the fountain of youth very few actually deliver. All of this at the cost of exposing out bodies to harmful chemicals and minerals which in reality do no good and creates the perfect breeding ground for atrocious skin diseases that can even leads to cancer.

So when we read labels to know how good a product works for us we always tend to gravitate towards those which claim to contain the most natural ingredients. So if everything is natural why not make them by ourselves. A body lotion can be made without the aide of chemicals, in the comfort of our homes in the combination we best deem fit. The benefits of this is that, we will be aware of how natural the product is and will help save cash we spend on expensive “natural” products.

There are various possible recipes but here are some of the best and easiest that you will love stocking up on.There are endless variations, but some of my favorites are:

1. Herb Infused Baby Body Lotion

Ingredients:

½ parts of herb infused olive oil
¼ parts of coconut oil
¼ parts beeswax

Method:Steep a handful of chamomile and calendula buds into the olive oil overnight. Combine all the ingredients in a container where you will store it in. The ratio mentioned above shall be maintained with respect to the amount of output you desire.

Warm up water in a medium sized utensil on medium heat and put the ingredient filled container into the water where the ingredients will start melting together. Occasionally shake it to ensure the ingredients fuse well. Now pour it out in a jar to be used for a reasonable shelf life of 6 months.
