Lavender And Cedarwood Sleep Rub
To prepare the sleep rub you will need ¼-cup of cocoa butter, ¼-cup of coconut oil, 12 drops of lavender essential oil and 12 drops of cedarwood essential oil. For additional benefit, blend orange, ylang ylang, tangerine, blue tansy and patchouli essential oils in equal proportions and add 12 drops of the essential oil blend to the sleep rub mixture.
How To Make
Use a double boiler to melt and mix the cocoa butter and coconut oil. Remove the mixture from the heat and allow it to cool down slightly. After 10 minutes, mix the essential oils with the cocoa butter and coconut oil mixture. Refrigerate the mixture for an hour or until it becomes semi solid. Vigorously whip the mixture until it becomes soft and creamy. Rub a small amount of the mixture on your feet before going to bed.
Peppermint, Grapefruit, Lemon And Ginger Sleep Rub
The ingredients you will need to prepare the sleep rub are a cup of coconut oil, a cup of olive oil, four tablespoons of grated beeswax and 20 drops each of peppermint, grapefruit, lemon and ginger essential oil and 10 drops of cinnamon essential oil.
How To Make
Melt and mix the beeswax and coconut and olive oil. Add the essential oils to the wax and oil mixture and stir well. Pour the mixture in a clean and dry container. To enjoy sound sleep, gently massage both your feet with a small amount of the sleep rub.
