To make the herbal body butter, you will need 2 oz of mango butter, 3 oz of shea butter, 0.5 oz of beeswax, 1 ounce coconut oil and ¼ cup each of calendula oil, rosehip essential oil, aloe vera gel and calendula hydrosol.

In a double boiler melt and combine the shea butter, mango butter, beeswax and coconut oil. Add the calendula and rosehip essential oil to the melted butter and beeswax mixture and blend them well. Remove the butter and oil mixture from the stove. When the mixture reaches room temperature, add the hydrosol and aloe vera gel. With a hand blender whisk the mixture. Keep on blending until the mixture attains a cream-like consistency.

On low heat, melt and combine shea butter and coconut oil. Add the herbs to the melted butter and coconut oil mixture. Steep the herbs for at least four hours. Strain the mixture to remove the herbs. Refrigerate the herb infused mixture until it become semi-solid. Put the semi-solid mixture in a mixer and whip for a minute. Add the essential oils and whisk the mixture until it becomes creamy.
