4 Steps To A Relaxing Eye Spa At Home

Eye Spa? Isn’t it strange? Yes i know you must be wondering how can some one can actually have an eye spa. We take utmost care of our hair and skin But most of the times we forget about our precious eyes. Even they need a pampering. Most of us face an issues such as wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles around our eyes. We try to conceal it with make up most of the time but always forget to find a long term solution. 8 hours sound sleep and adequate water intake are must to maintain the healthy eyes. Apart from these you could also perform a special homemade spa for your eyes which will give it a much needed TLC.

Today We Are Going To Discuss About A Very Simple Eye Spa Treatment Which You Can Perform At Home:

1. Cleansing

This is then first step in our Eye Spa treatment. In this process we will be cleansing the area around the eye and make it ready for the next step. To prepare the cleanser you would need equal quantity of Rose water and milk. Mix it well and apply this mixture to wipe your under eye area with the help of a cotton. Let it sit for 5 minutes and wash off with cold water. Rose and milk both contains cleansing properties which mildly cleanses the under eye area.

2. Scrubbing

This is the second step . Now you must be wondering how can we scrub an under eye area. We all know that the skin around our eye is very delicate hence we are advised to avoid the under eye area during facial scrubbing. But here we are going to prepare a gentle and mild scrub for under eye area. You would need finely grounded oats and honey. Mix both the ingredients well and form a paste. Now massage your under eye area using this scrub by using your ring finger. Massage for at least 3 to 5 minutes. Wash off afterwards. Due to saponin content, oats helps in mild cleansing and exfoliate the skin gently while honey moisturize the under eye area.

3. Massaging

This would be the third step in our spa treatment. After scrubbing it is necessary to massage the under eye area to combat the dryness and improve the blood circulation. You can use natural oils such as sweet almond oil or extra virgin olive oil for this purpose. You would need to use your ring finger to massage the under eye area. Take 2 to 3 drops of an oil and massage gently in clockwise as well as in anti clockwise direction for 10 minutes.

4. Mask

Since we have done with the 3 steps , now its time to move to the last step of our treatment. Like other spa treatments here also we would finish this process with a mask. We would prepare this mask with Chickpea flour, Coffee powder and Turmeric. Mix one tablespoon of Chickpea flour, one tablespoon of Coffee powder and a pinch of turmeric. Make a thick paste by using water or rose water. Apply under your eye and let it sit for 30 minutes. Wash off with cold water afterwards and follow up with an eye cream or almond oil.Make sure you massage gently while removing the mask. Chickpea and turmeric helps to lighten the dark circles while coffee helps to remove the puffiness and tightens the skin under your eyes.
