1. Cloves and Cinnamon Mouthwash:

Cinnamon has antibacterial properties that can effectively curb the spread of bacterial agents in your mouth. Cloves are widely used in dental products and can act as an effective antiseptic agent. Not to forget that cloves have a flavorful taste to them. To get the mouthwash, add one teaspoon of cloves to a cup of boiling water. Then add a teaspoon of ground cinnamon powder and boil it for about 5 minutes. Close the lid and allow it to steep for about 10 minutes. Strain the mixture and add a 4to 5 drops of peppermint essential oil. Your very own mouthwash is now ready to use. Use it once it cools down. You can store the contents in a small bottle, and you can use as per your convenience.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar Mouthwash:

Apple Cider Vinegar has antibacterial properties and can be best used with salt water for harnessing their natural cleansing attitude. Take a cup of salt water and add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to it. To change the taste, add a few drops of vanilla essential oil to it and mix well. Pour the contents into a small bottle and use it as per your convenience. Always ensure that you shake the bottle well before you gargle as salt can get deposited at the bottom of the cup.

3.  Honey and Lemon Juice Mouthwash:

For all those who prefer a sweet tooth, this can be the best homemade mouthwash that leaves a lovable taste in your mouth. Take a cup of water and add a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice to it. Now add a tablespoon of raw honey and few drops of peppermint essential oil to the mixture and mix well. Your mouth wash is now ready to use. Whenever you use it shake the contents well before gargling and use raw honey as it can quickly dissolve.

4. Aloe Vera and Lemon Mouthwash:

This mouthwash is not only the easiest to make but can also cleanse your mouth due to the presence of Aloe Vera. Mix one tablespoon of Aloe Vera juice and mix it one cup of water. Add a few drops of lemon essential oil or fresh lemon juice and stir well. For better benefits add an extract of few basil leaves. Aloe Vera has antibacterial and anti-fungicidal components in them. Using this mouthwash can be very beneficial for your gums and cavities too.

5. Rosemary and Mint Mouthwash:

Mint leaves always carry a distinctive smell along with them. They can be effectively used as a breath freshener too in many cases. To make this mouthwash boil a cup of water and add a few mint leaves to it. Add a few rosemary leaves and let it boil for about 5 minutes. Later strain the mixture and once it cools add a table of fresh lemon juice. Mix well, and your recipe is ready to use.
 Always note that when using water, avoid using tap water. Use mineral water or distilled water instead. Remember to shake the bottle well before you use the mouthwash as the ingredients can get accumulated at the bottom and the essential oils might have got collected at the top.
