Put all the ingredients in a double boiler. On low heat melt and mix them well. Cool the mixture and use as your regular lip balm.

Vanilla soothes the lips and adds a sweet aroma to the lip balm. To make the coconut oil vanilla lip balm, you will need two tablespoons each of coconut oil, beeswax and cocoa butter and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Add the coconut oil, beeswax and cocoa butter in a double boiler. Melt and mix the ingredients. Remove the mixture from the heat and add the vanilla extract. Stir to blend the ingredients. The mixture will solidify after it cools.

For extra hydration, add honey to your coconut oil lip balm. Honey works as a humectant. It absorbs moisture from the air and traps it in the skin. Moreover, the nutrient dense honey nourishes the lips. The ingredients you will need to make the lip balm are one tablespoon of coconut oil, one tablespoon of grated beeswax, 3 to 4 drops of honey and two vitamin E capsules. In a double boiler, melt and mix the beeswax and coconut oil. Break the vitamin E capsules and add the vitamin E oil to the mixture. Add honey and stir well to combine the ingredients. After the mixture cools, apply a small amount to your lips.

This coconut oil lip balm contains peppermint oil, which helps in soothing and healing the chapped lips. To make the lip balm you will need two tablespoons each of grated beeswax, coconut oil and shea butter and 30 to 35 drops of peppermint essential oil. Using a double boiler, melt the beeswax, coconut oil and shea butter. Remove the melted wax, butter and coconut oil mixture from the stove and add the peppermint essential oil. Stir to combine the ingredients. Let the mixture cool. After the mixture hardens, spread a small amount on your lips.

Coconut Oil Lavender Lemon Lip Balm

This lip balm, in addition to healing the dry and cracked lips, helps in lightening the dark lips. Lavender present in the lip balm helps in soothing the cracked lips. The lip balm contains lemon essential oil that helps in treating the pigmented lips. To make the lip balm you will need four tablespoons of coconut oil, three tablespoons of grated beeswax and 6 to 7 drops each of lavender essential oil and lemon essential oil. Melt and mix the coconut oil and beeswax. Add the essential oils to the coconut oil and beeswax mixture. Stir to combine the ingredients. After the lip balm hardens, use it just like your regular lip balm.
