5 Homemade Ideas For Making Natural Perfumes

Perfume is a liquid that has fragrance which is typically made from oils extracted from the fresh leaves and spices. Perfumes are applied on body to give pleasant smell to your body. 1. Woodland Perfumes:

If you like the smell of pine trees then you can go for woodland perfume. To prepare this take 4-5 drops of spruce essential oil into a container and mix it with 2 drops of organic fir needle essential oil. After both are mixed well, add 2 drops of organic cedarwood essential oil to it. This solution is then mixed with 1 drop of organic vetiver essential oil and 1 drop of organic bergamot essential oil. Drip this solution into the glass container and roll between yours palms so that the mixture is mixed completely.

Lastly, add jojoba oil to it and roll again with palms. If you want strong smell you can add essential oils as per requirement.

2. Cucumber Aloe Body Mist Perfumes:

The greatest advantage of this perfume is that it gives a long-lasting refreshing and uplifting feel to body further boosting your mood the entire day. To prepare this, peel out 1 cucumber and cut it into small pieces. Blend the cucumber into the mixer for about 1 minute to get it into powdered form. Cover a glass bowl with the cheese cloth and strain all the liquid or the juice of cucumber into the container. If you don’t have cheese cloth you can go for napkin and strain the juice by tight grip.

Add 1 squeeze of lemon and 1 table spoon of aloe-Vera gel into the solution. Mix the solution with a tablespoon of rose water. Store it into the fridge so that it doesn’t get spoiled.

3. DIY Tropical Body Mist Perfumes:

This perfume can be used in summers as well as winters. It contains a trace of alcohol so that it lasts onto your clothes for a longer period. Anyways, this perfume smells so good and the combination of grapefruit, coconut, and vanilla go so well together and it will help you to take to a tropical paradise moment. To prepare this, fill you bottle with 30 ml of distilled water and 10 ml of rose hydrosol. In another container mix 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract with 1 teaspoon of vodka.

And mix this solution to the one in bottle. Slowly and gradually mix 1 tablespoon of vegetable glycerine to it. Mix it for about 2 minutes followed by mixing 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. Lastly, shake the bottle very well so that all the ingredients mix well before use. Keep it for about 2 hours before use.

4. Lavender Vanilla Perfume:

The soft, relaxing fragrance of lavender and the sweet, smooth smell of vanilla makes this perfume smell so good and attractive. It will have you relaxed, calm, and happy when you put it on your clothes. It smells so good, but there is a slight disadvantage. The time is quite lengthy to get the strongest scent, it takes about four to six weeks to be prepared completely.

To prepare this, Place 2 whole vanilla beans into a jar and mix it with 1 cup dried lavender flowers. Pour half cup vodka into it and cover it with a lid. Keep this mixture for about 7 days. After 7 days, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable glycerine to it with 15 drops of lavender essential oil and 10 drops of vanilla extracts. Replace the lid and keep it for about 4-6 weeks. Strain the perfume into the glass bottle using the paper filter.

5. Vanilla Cardamom Body Mist Perfumes:

The main advantage of Vanilla Cardamom Body Mist is that it is very easy to prepare and smells good. To prepare the homemade vanilla cardamom body mist perfume, firstly crack 6 green cardamom seeds. Put all these small pieces into a container and boil it with water. After 2-3 minutes remove it from heat. Let this water cool down completely for its further preparation.

Transfer this scented solution into spray bottle and then add 1 tablespoon of pure vanilla extract with the solution. Cover the bottle with lid and shake it well so that all ingredients mix well. You can adjust the amount of vanilla extract according to your liking. Shake well before use.
