Squeeze one lemon for its juice and add two teaspoon of raw honey with it in a bowl. Mix well and apply on your face. After letting it stay for 15 minutes, wash off with normal water.

The efficiency of cucumber can be understood from its usage in treating puffy eyes and dark circles. Although, the reason for using cucumber on the pigmented skin can differ slightly but the efficiency remains intact. When used on skin, it rejuvenates, brightens and treats any kind of blemishes or scar spots.

To prepare the remedy, add 1 teaspoon of cucumber juice (from grated cucumber), 1 teaspoon of honey and one teaspoon of lemon juice in a bowl. Mix thoroughly and apply evenly on your skin. Leave the skin the same for 10 minutes and wash afterwards.

The astringent property of apple cider vinegar restores the natural color to the skin. Plus, it contain beta-carotene that looks after any kind of damage cause to the skin from the UV rays or the free radicals. Applying it twice everyday can make your skin suppler and brighter.

In a bowl, pour 3-4 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and add few drops of water to normalize the concentration. Apply on the pigmentation are and leave for 5 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water.

Red Onion

Who would have thought that someday even red onion can also make an effective remedy for skin pigmentation? The credit goes to the antioxidant property or vitamin C content of red onion which is very effective for treating skin pigmentation.
