Everyone who had used an ill fitting or a tight new footwear would have experienced it. It is not exactly an itch, but an ugly sore or an inflammation of the skin. 1. Coconut Oil

We are blessed to know coconut oil in our lives. We can go on and on about its infinite number of uses in our everyday lives. In many cases, we use coconut oil as the first line of defense for a number of ailments. Such footwear itches are also not an exception. It has anti-inflammatory properties and can be beneficial in soothing the scars and helps in getting rid of the inflammations. Apply coconut oil on the affected area twice or thrice a day. Also, for a day or two, you can coat the internal layer of your footwear with coconut oil so that it does not cause the discomfort again. However, do apply a thin coat and not a very thick one as coconut oil may start dripping on your toes.

You can try out honey for taking care of such footwear itches. They are beneficial in decreasing the bruising and also help in reducing the pain and inflammation. Try using organic honey or Manuka honey for best results. You can apply it directly or you can mix some honey with olive oil and apply on the affected area. Try it out twice a day. Raw honey can turn sticky. Hence make sure you wash off the area properly later.



3. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera gel is the thing to go for if your need to get rid of your bites efficiently and effectively. Aloe Vera has natural moisturizing properties and its antimicrobial nature can be beneficial in taking care of such itches and bumps formed through footwear. Apply a quote of Aloe Vera gel or liquid on your skin and your affected area. Do not cover it up and let it free. After an hour or two rinse off with cold water. Use this procedure at least thrice a day for quick results.

You can try out turmeric combination too if your bites have turned red or when they seem to crack. Turmeric is anti-inflammatory and they are antimicrobial as well. Take some crushed turmeric and mix it with some coconut oil. Apply it around the areas that have been affected. Best results can be had if you leave it overnight on your foot.

Try out this age old method to reduce the swelling and the redness around the affected region. Ice can alleviate pain and can also reduce the inflammation. It also arrests the formation of germs in the affected region and can be beneficial in getting rid of the soreness. Take a few ice cubes and wrap it in a clean piece of cloth. Now place this cloth on the affected area for about 10 minutes. Repeat it several times a day. Alternatively, you can even use running cold water in the affected region.


6. Rice Flour

If your footwear grasps your skin and if you are getting symptoms of a scar then this is one of the best methods to try out. Rice four is a good exfoliating agent and can be beneficial in getting rid of the dead skin tissues. Mix a tablespoon of rice scrub to some water and make it into a fine paste. You can even add in a few drops of coconut oil to the mix. Now apply this paste on the affected region. After some 10 minutes wash it off. Use cold water to remove the paste.
