Carbohydrates generates energy to the body including the brain by the breakdown of the carbohydrates into monosaccharides, disaccharides or polysacchariedes , that is taken by our body in many forms of food. The carbohydrate is broken by the small intestine by the enzyme called sucrase, that breakdown in fructose and glucose, then insulin takes it to the rest part of the body, since carbohydrate is responsilble for generating energy to the various parts of the body, the intake of carbohydrate is highly important in proportion.
