Rosewater Using Fresh Rose Metals
Petals of fresh roses (make sure they are not sprayed with chemicals), distilled water and ice.
Take a pot with a lid and add water to it and let heat the water till it starts boiling. Place a stand inside the pot. Now take fresh rose petals and wash them well. Place these inside the boiling pot. Take a bowl filled with distilled water and place it on the stand. Close the pot with a lid .When the solution starts boiling place ice on the lid and let the solution simmer for half an hour. If the ice melts then place more ice. After half an hour when the rose petals have faded in color remove the bowl and let the solution cool. Your rosewater is ready. Store it in a clean bottle. Preparing rosewater using fresh rose petals is the best way of making it. However for some reasons you do not have fresh roses then you can use rose essential oil or dried rose petals to make rosewater. Rosewater Using Rose Essential Oil
15 drops of rose essential oil and 250 ml of distilled water
Take clean glass jar. Pour distilled water and rose essential oil in it. Close the jar and shake well for few seconds. Your rosewater is ready.
Rosewater Using Dried Rose Petals
Dried rose petals and hot distilled water
Take a jar .Put the dried petals in it. Pour hot but not boiling distilled water on the dried petals. Close the jar with a lid and let the mixture stand until it cools down. Now strain the solution and store it in another clean jar.
