Egg whites help in skin tightening and help to make the skin pores firm. Honey works as a natural moisturizer. To prepare this pack, you need one egg white, one tablespoon of almond oil, one tablespoon of yogurt and one tablespoon of honey. Mix all these very well with the help of form. Apply a very thin layer on the whiteheads. Let it remain for at least 30 minutes. Rinse it with warm water.

Warm Towel Application

Dip a clean towel in warm water. Remove excess water by squeezing the towel properly. Now, place this wet warm towel on your face. Lie down as you do this. This will help in opening the pores and will remove all impurities which are responsible for whiteheads. Those with oily skin can do this twice in a day for 10 minutes. It will keep the face clean, reduce oil and decrease the appearance of whiteheads.

Orange Peel, Lemon Juice And Garlic Scrub

A wonderful homemade scrubber which removes all impurities, reduces excess oil, cleans the face and reduces whiteheads. You need three tablespoon lemon juice, one whole orange peels (dried under the sun and in powder form) and two cloves of garlic. Blend all ingredients well to form a thick paste.  You can apply this scrub on the whiteheads and let it remain for 10 minutes at least. Rinse it using warm water. This should be done at least twice a week for effective results.

Any homemade sugar scrub is good for the skin. It exfoliates the skin and removes all debris which are trapped in the pores, removes extra oil and cleans the skin. The best part is that all this does not cause any dryness on the skin. To prepare this scrub you should mix a tablespoon of honey with a tablespoon of sugar. This can be applied on the face and moved in circular motion. Let it remain for a few minutes and wash it away. This can be done twice a week for best results.

The best natural remedy for whiteheads is facial steam. The process helps in opening the pores and also loosens dead skin cells, oil and releases dirt build up. To create the steam you can boil water in a pan and once the water starts to boil you can turn off the heat. Now gently, place your face over this pan as you hold a towel over your head. This will trap the steam. Your face should soak for at least 6 minutes. You can pat dry your face with a clean towel. You can repeat the sitting as many times as you wish, but ensure that you do not hurt yourself.

Tea Tree oil is known for its antibacterial as well as anti-fungal properties. It works to kill all bacteria present on the skin surface. It reduces the formation of acne, pimples and whiteheads. As a precautionary measure, you should not use tea tree oil directly on your skin, since it might react. You can dilute it by mixing Aloe Vera gel or water. Before you apply this oil, clean your face properly. Once clean you can dab a clean cotton ball dipped in this oil to treat the affected area. Allow it to dry naturally.
