Sweating is natural. It keeps our body cool. But too much sweating or too less sweating – both are abnormal and are bad for health. Excessive sweating can be a warning sign of thyroid problems, diabetes or infection. Women, who are near to menopause, also sweat too much. Though excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis is not a fatal or complicated problem, it should be treated early to avoid an embarrassing situation. If you sweat too much, it will stain your cloth, may create odor. 1. Sandalwood Paste:

Sandalwood paste is effective to control excessive sweating and to keep your body dry. Take sandalwood powder according to your need. Pour rosewater to it and mix well to make a paste. Apply this sandalwood paste on your sweat prone areas like, face, armpits, neck, etc. leave it to get dry. Then just rub and brush out excess sandalwood powder. Dry sandalwood almost works like talcum or face powder. Sandalwood is a cool substance. It controls your overactive sweat gland and controls sweat secretion. Thus, it locks the moisture of the body. Moreover, antibacterial property of sandalwood helps to stop generating odor creating bacteria and keeps your body odor free for a long time. But, sandalwood paste should be applied on clear skin to get the better result.

2. Cucumber:

Cucumber is an excellent vegetable to solve the problem of sweating. Grate one or two juicy cucumbers and strain the juice only. Preserve the juice in a container and keep it in the refrigerator. Before going out in the sun just soak a cotton ball in this cucumber juice and rub your face, neck and armpits with this ball. Cucumber juice has astringent property that controls the sweating process. It helps to lock the moisture of your body. You may get the benefit from daily use.

Mint is an excellent herb that works well to keep your body dry. Take some fresh mint leaves and crush them to get the juice. Mix mint juice and water in a bottle in 1:5 ratio. Keep them in the refrigerator. Take a few drops of this mint juice and massage this on your acne prone areas twice or thrice daily to solve the problem of excessive sweating. But, before the use, do not forget to shake the bottle as mint juice has a tendency to settle at the bottom of the container when remain unused for a long time.


4. Sage:

The tannic acid present in the sage is known for its astringent property which serves to control the perspiration. The antibacterial and antifungal properties of sage help to control the growth of those bacteria that create body odor accompanied with sweating. Take some fresh sage leaves and chop them. Add 1 cup chopped sage in 2 cups of plain water. Keep them on low flame for half an hour. Then remove it from the oven and let it cool. Then strain the sage water and preserve it in the refrigerator. Use it as body toner. It will help to solve the problem of excessive sweating and maintain the natural water content of the skin.


5. Apple Cider Vinegar:

Apple cider vinegar is one of the most common home products. Pour one tablespoon of this vinegar in 1 glass of chilled water. Mix well. With the help of cotton pad just rub it on your whole body. It will help to reduce the sweat secretion effectively and will prevent your body getting dried.

6. Tomato:

Tomato is excellent to solve the problem of excessive sweating. Grind 1 0r 2 tomatoes according to your need. Apply a thick layer of this tomato paste on your skin. Leave it to get dry. Then wash it with ample fresh water. Regular use of this pack is useful to solve the problem of excess sweating and body odor.


7. Tea:

Boil a cup of water and soak 1 tea bag (preferably green tea bag) in the water. Now remove the bag and allow it cool in the refrigerator. Use it as toner. This tea liquor helps a lot to maintain water level of the skin effectively.


Follow these measures along with regular bathing. Bathe in normal water at least twice daily in plan water if you have a problem of excessive sweating. Drink adequate water and eat fresh fruits and vegetables daily. Wear cotton cloth always because cotton cloth made by other natural fiber allows air circulation inside your garments and keep your body cool and dry.
